Niall Bianchini ‘Bersagliere rossoblu’ from Fetonte City to Dublino for DLSP Under7s rugby/ Looking… Leinster
Quando mi hanno contattato quasi un anno fa, la richiesta riguardava un souvenir rossoblu griffato Rugby Rovigo Delta. La richiesta era di nonno Gianfranco Bianchini , signore coi baffi , che aveva pensato di omaggiare ‘heart & soul rossoblu’ of Niall , il suo nipote irlandese che fa il raccattapalle pro Leinster.
E mi aveva raccontato che Niall, nato a Dublino il 19 ottobre 2012 da mamma Rachele e papà Michele ( classe 1971) , fin da quando va in campo a Dublino, sotto la sua maglia irlandese indossa sempre orgogliosamente la sua maglia rossoblu Made in Polesine.
Poi quando ho assolto il ‘compito’ richiestomi ho provveduto alla consegna , ma …ormai Niall se n’era già ritornato a Dublino. Ma ‘cuor di nonno’ Gianfranco ( classe 1945) mi ha sorpreso un’altra volta. Si è presentato a casa mia con una serie di foto dove Niall era protagonista nel Rugby Under 7s a Dublino.
E allora , visto che poi ho incrociato anche nonna Adriana De Gaspari , ecco questa little evolving story, visto che ad agosto è programmato un altro tassello di questa flash story ovale irlandese, fermo restando che il ‘gagliardetto’ della Rugby Rovigo Delta è in bella mostra in una bacheca dublinese.
Come sottolineato nella seguente Main News dedicata a recente Torneo Young dove Niall è stato protagonista come da fotogallery, mentre nelle due Appendici Flash Story (in inglese perché www.polesinesport.it è …windows on the world, come i nostri lettori) facciamo doveroso minimo focus sul suo habitat di riferimento e in particolare sulla società “de La Salle Parlmerston “ dove il baby Made in Fetonte City is running for… Leinster tra arpa d’oro su sfondo verde e quadrifoglio irlandese.

DE LA SALLE Palmerston hosted Ireland’s largest Under – 7s rugby blitz in Kinternan last Sunday as they welcomed hundreds of youngsters to the club for Kieran Burke Festival of Rugby.
Kieran Burke was an Under- 7 DLSP player who sadly died in 2004 from leukaemia aged 6.
The festival was started to pay tribune to Kieran and his great enthusiasm for rugby by hosting an event for his age group.
It is now the largest rugby event for Under-7s in the country. It is tradition in DLSP that the event is organised by the Under-7s squad made up entirely of volunteers from the club and parents of the players.
There were 620 kids from over 60 teams in action as well as coaches and parents – along with Noel Reid and Peter Dooley from the Leinster squad – cheering them on, making it a great day orf rugby for all.
Novan RFC took home the trophy this year.

De La Salle Palmerston (DLSP) is one of Dublin's longest-established, family-friendly, welcoming and inclusive rugby clubs based in Kilternan, South Dublin. We field three mens' competetive teams in the Leinster League and Dublin Metro League respectively. We have a very active mini and youth rugby section for both boys and girls which includes an U20 team who compete in the JP Fanagan League. The club has a thriving social scene with a wide range of fun activities and events for all ages and interests throughout the year. New members are always welcome and we would love to see you at Kirwan Park!

Our Mini rugby programme will this year celebrate it's 42nd year and continues to grow. We are genuinely delighted to be able to offer a squad at every age group.
Each group has an IRFU Certified Coaching team, Garda vetted coaches and a certified first aider, the training for each team is also age appropriate.
We aim to gradually increase the players’ competencies with the emphasis on team participation and learning to take responsibility for their own actions.
All squads participate in a variety of leagues and invitational events where the focus is on enjoyment and development in a non competitive environment.
New members, beginners, boys and girls are very welcome.
If you are thinking of bringing your child along to try rugby in our club you are very welcome. All you need is a Gum Shield!
In our experience we recommend that you bring them along to training for 2 weeks and see how they get on.
Hopefully they like it and want to join, then you can talk to your team's administrator regarding memberships, etc.
Also we have a "BOOT BOX SCHEME", this is where boots that are grown out of are left into the club by families to be passed onto other children, always in excellent condition and sometimes nearly brand new.
SO DON'T BUY BOOTS WITH OUT CHECKING - every week boots are left in and taken, so check a few times. Also if you have boots that your children haven grown out of, please consider donating them for re-use.
There is a nominal fee of €5 for the boots and this goes towards The London Irish Tour for our U11 & 12's teams.
Again remember to check the boot box every week all during the season!

Quindi in fotogallery partiamo mixando la home page della società De La Salle Palmerston dedicata al team Mini-young con la nota ‘Arpa d’oro su sfondo verde ‘ che rappresenta tutta la regione Leinster di cui è capitale Dublino, altresì capitale dell’Irlanda.
Mentre per quanto riguarda Niall Bianchini lo proponiamo in una serie di immagini insieme al compagni Under 7s della sua società De La Salle Palmerston al sopracitato torneo ‘Kieran Burke’, intitolato allo sfortunato ragazzino morto all’età di 6 anni nel 2004 a causa della leucemia.
Per la cronaca nella foto con didascalia incorporata dedicata alla società DLSP segnaliamo che Niall Bianchini è proprio sotto ..Lady Pink.
Caratteristiche di Niall ? Per la sua età è grande e veloce. Quando parte da lontano sa accelerare fino ad essere irraggiungibile… Altre sue passioni ? Il nuoto.
I genitori? Stravedono per Niall, sia mamma Rachele ( imprenditrice) che papà Michele ( si è recentemente laureato in psicologia).
Sicché Rachele & Michele coltivano il loro sogno irlandese seguendo Niall sui campi da rugby, per adesso quelli che vediamo in foto e davanti al Grande Stadio di Dublino e a far da sfondo alla foto dulcis in fundo in cui vediamo Niall ( secondo da sx) nel team Under /s della sua attuale squadra DLSP.
Ma Tomorrow è un altro giorno e si vedrà magari Niall Made in Polesine & Bersagliere rossoblu indossare la mitica maglia del Leinster , che LUI ha visto più volte da vicino anche come raccattapalle come è successo contro il Benetton Treviso del ds Antonio Pavanello.
Per uno come il sottoscritto che si è innamorato dei ‘Dubliners’ di Joyce, beh sapere che a Dublino si sono incrociati …Il Gigante e il Bambino , beh signori, penso proprio che il Mondo sia davvero piccolo .
Anzi è immenso come il Polesine della mitologia di Fetonte, con tutta la sua metamorfosi dal rossoblu al verde sogno irlandese.
Ovviamente questa ‘too much young’ Irish Storytelling Made in Polesine non avrebbe avuto inizio se non ci fosse stato l’amore tra Michel e la sua Rachele che perciò vi proponiamo in foto trio col figlio Niall anche perché ‘naturalmente’ griffato ‘rossoblu’ con la maglia della Femi Cz Rugby Rovigo.
D’altra parte papà Michele da giovane ha anche giocato a Rugby nel Frassinelle Polesine 1983 gestione Raffaello Salvan , un personaggio fondamentale anche per la Rugby Rovigo e che proprio per questo ho incontrato ieri allo stadio ‘Maci’ Battaglini mentre sul campo la Femi Cz Rugby Rovigo ha schiacciato 45-0 il Valsugana Rugby ( vedi mio reportage completo di fotogallery sempre qui su www.polesinesport.it nella settimanale rubrica Rugby dedicata).
Fermo restando che poi papà Michele ha giocato anche nel campionato di Pallamano gestione Bellinazzi in Tassina a Rovigo, passiamo a certificarvi la passione rugby della famiglia storica di Gianfranco Bianchini ‘italo- irlandese’ perché in foto vi propongo in coppia i nonni Gianfranco & Adriana ( parenti di champion Graziano Ravanelli ‘rugby scudetto col Rovigo) insieme al loro amato nipotino Niall con a fianco il Bersagliotto , mascotte della Rugby Rovigo e che baby Niall ha anche nella sua cameretta a Dublino.
La città capitale d’Irlanda dove per Niall , vedi foto dulcis in fundo in versione bianconero è comunque sempre orgoglio ‘essere’ Made in Rovigo come da relativa maglia da Piccolo Bersagliere rossoblu.
