Come artista è talmente internazionale Elisa Bertaglia che è superflua ogni presentazione , così anche in questo caso che espone sia a Venezia col nuovo progetto LETTERA ( ma potrebbe anche chiamarsi ...Libro, oltretutto in tour) che a New York dove è di casa alla SARAHCROWN Gallery, lasciamo direttamente a ELISA la ‘presentazione’ del doppio appuntamento comprese relative caratteristiche progettuali ed artistiche.
Fermo restando che per conoscere meglio Elisa Bertaglia basta chiedere a Google e qui su questa testata on line troverete tutti i reportage sui suoi tanti precedenti impegni artistici internazionali, oltre che tutto quanta riguarda il suo lungo percorso artistico.
Se poi consideriamo che la vita è l’arte dell’incontro , ma che gli Amori anche per quanto riguarda l’ARTE fanno giri immensi prima di ritrovarsi nei luoghi del ...cuore, allora basta ricordare che tra l’altro Elisa Bertaglia, pur essendo sempre in viaggio verso il suo ‘Oltre’ ,è pur sempre artisticamente nata a Venezia da studente alla Accademia delle Belle Arti, anche se da dove abita può ritrovarsi newyorchese a guardare la Statua della Libertà,

LETTERA — VENICE
Opening on May 5, from 6–10pm, Lettera launches during the Venice Biennale in Venice, Italy. The project, conceived by Giulia Colussi and curated by Elena Re, presents works from the Giulia Colussi Collection at Palazzo Bragadin Carabba. The exhibition features three artists: Elisa Bertaglia, Andrea Fais, and Mario Uliassi.
Lettera is part of an ongoing initiative that will unfold annually, engaging in dialogue with different voices across the contemporary cultural landscape.
NADA — NEW YORK
SARAHCROWN Gallery will present a selection of my works at NADA New York, including oil paintings on canvas from The Rest series and oil paintings on rose-gold plates from Enchantment.
The fair will be held at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Chelsea from May 13–17, 2026.

In Venice, on the second floor of Palazzo Bragadin Carabba, Giulia Colussi – a passionate collector and ‘outside-the-box’ figure – recently set up her Venetian home. At the entrance to the apartment, she decided to give over two small rooms to showcasing young art: both that of emerging talent and of artists who have only recently embarked on their careers. On some occasions, she plans to juxtapose these works with established or even historic artworks, embracing an ‘open’ perspective while, above all, highlighting the value of young artists most deserving of a space and a voice, beyond all the intricacies and complexities of the art world.
Planning her first event to coincide with the opening of the 2026 Venice Art Biennale, Giulia has chosen to present three artists: Elisa Bertaglia, Andrea Fais and Mario Uliassi. But that’s not all – this will not be the usual exhibition staged in a collector’s home, but rather a genuine cultural undertaking, an event to be repeated every year during the Biennale (both that of Art and that of Architecture), adopting the same format yet with ever-changing contributions.
Navigating the world of art, Giulia met Elena Re. In a relationship built on shared affinities and the joy of collaboration, she asked her to join this project, bringing not only her experience but also her own perspective as an art critic and independent curator. Thus, the artists’ works proposed by Giulia were explored in depth, selected together with Elena, and then displayed in this Venetian home.
In this setting, Giulia and Elena happily share the conception and the scientific coordination of the project. Together they have given a name and structure to the entire project, which encompasses not only an exhibition but also a book – a publication that brings together and conveys the artists’ identities, the works involved, not to mention the sentiment that underpins the whole project.
And LETTERA is the name Giulia and Elena have given to this very special venture.
Alongside the display in the apartment, the project will call upon a different guest each time, not necessarily someone from the art world. This figure will offer a sort of critical conscience – that of a keen observer who enters the space and captures its spirit, before writing a letter to Giulia to share their impressions or emotions arising from what they have seen. In this first edition (2026), Elena herself will act as the ‘pioneer’, operating as author and pilot performer, intervening both live and through her own letter published in the book. And so, over the years to follow, Giulia and Elena will invite other figures: actors, musicians, writers, philosophers, economists, scientists…
From one letter to the next, a model will be outlined and a new perspective created, fostering interesting and unconventional discoveries. Thus, each year a new group of artists and a new book will form a series with its own distinct identity. The publisher is PRINP Editoria d’Arte: a small Turin-based company with a rich history to its name.
In the company of the artists, Giulia and Elena look forward to welcoming you to Venice on TUESDAY 5 MAY 2026 for a celebratory gathering in the apartment amidst the artworks. A gathering that marks the start of a journey lasting the whole year. For the house will open by appointment, with visits and cultural initiatives offering a special window onto emerging art. And the journey will also continue far beyond the apartment, for LETTERA will unfold through the accompanying publication and thus travel elsewhere, yet ever in the furrow of friendship and a pure love of things.

A Venezia, al secondo piano di Palazzo Bragadin Carabba, Giulia Colussi – collezionista libera e appassionata – ha appena allestito una sua casa. All’ingresso, due salette le ha dedicate ad accogliere l’arte giovane. Quella emergente, ma anche quella che è appena venuta al mondo.
Talvolta le metterà in relazione con espressioni artistiche già consolidate o addirittura storiche, per offrire una visione ‘aperta’ ma soprattutto per mettere in luce il valore di giovani che meritano essenzialmente spazio e voce, al di là delle dinamiche e delle complessità del sistema dell’arte.
Programmando un primo appuntamento in occasione dell’apertura della Biennale di Venezia 2026, Giulia ha voluto presentare tre artisti: Elisa Bertaglia, Andrea Fais e Mario Uliassi. Ma non solo…
Perché questa non sarà la classica mostra allestita nella casa di una collezionista, impostandosi piuttosto come un progetto culturale, un appuntamento che ogni anno in occasione della Biennale (Arte e Architettura) si riproporrà con la stessa modalità ma con contributi sempre nuovi.
Navigando nei territori dell’arte, Giulia ha incontrato Elena Re. In un rapporto fatto di affinità e gioia di lavorare insieme, le ha chiesto di condividere questo progetto e portare con sé la sua esperienza ma anche il suo sguardo di critico d’arte e curatrice indipendente. Le opere degli artisti proposti da Giulia vengono approfondite, selezionate insieme a Elena, e quindi allestite in questa casa veneziana. E così, in un simile scenario, Giulia e Elena condividono felicemente l’ideazione e il coordinamento scientifico del progetto. Insieme hanno individuato il nome e la struttura dell’intero lavoro, che comprende non solo un momento espositivo ma anche un libro – un’edizione che racchiude e comunica l’identità degli artisti, le opere coinvolte, e non secondariamente il sentimento che anima il tutto.
LETTERA è il nome che Giulia e Elena hanno dato a questa speciale avventura.
Contestualmente all’esposizione nella casa, il progetto prevede ogni volta il coinvolgimento di un personaggio diverso, che appartiene non soltanto al mondo dell’arte. Una sorta di coscienza critica – un attento osservatore che entra, coglie lo spirito del luogo e poi scrive una lettera a Giulia per raccontarle le proprie impressioni o emozioni rispetto a ciò che ha visto. In questa prima edizione (2026) sarà Elena stessa a fare da ‘apripista’ come autrice e interprete, con momenti di comunicazione condotti sia dal vivo sia attraverso la sua lettera pubblicata nel libro. E così, negli anni successivi, Giulia e Elena inviteranno via via altre figure: attori, musicisti, scrittori, filosofi, economisti, persone di scienza…
Da una lettera all’altra, si ripropone un modello e si crea una prospettiva, riservando scoperte interessanti e non convenzionali. Dunque, ogni anno una nuova presenza di artisti e un nuovo libro che andrà a costituire una collana dotata di una precisa identità.
L’editore è PRINP Editoria d’Arte: una piccola realtà torinese con alle spalle una bella storia.
Giulia e Elena, insieme agli artisti, vi aspettano a Venezia MARTEDI 5 MAGGIO 2026 per un incontro festoso nella casa e tra le opere. Un incontro che segna l’inizio di un viaggio che durerà tutto l’anno. Perché la casa si aprirà su appuntamento, con possibili visite e iniziative culturali che creeranno una finestra speciale sull’arte giovane. E il viaggio proseguirà anche al di fuori della casa, perché LETTERA prenderà le ali attraverso il libro e quindi si sposterà altrove, seguendo un itinerario tracciato dall’amicizia e dal puro sentimento per le cose.
